I added an item to my list of "Things Moms Shouldn't Try." I decided to take Scarlet to Maria's Vineyard to take her one year pictures myself. Nicole, who normally takes our pictures, just delivered a gorgous new baby boy. So.... I took Scarlet to the vineyard :

~at 10:00 AM in the morning
~during the hottest week we have had this summer
~I was in a dress and heels
~with a basket full huge items to use in pics
~with 3 outfit changes
I learned this lesson the HOT I mean HARD way!
These pictures turned out to be some of my favorites! I guess all the torture was worth it!
