Scarlet at 19 months old

Scarlet is the most amazing 19 month old little girl. 
- weight- Dec. 26th-24lbs
- length-Nov 20th- 32 1/2 inches
- walking, talking, and running constantly
- entertainment for her daycare teachers
- talks all day long
- dances with or with out music
- very curious
- has no fear
- walked at 1 year old without tippy toes
- walked on tippy toes 10 months
- loves to climb and slide
- favorite shows are baby Einstein and yo gabba gabba
- when she sleeps (which is still not all night) she sleeps with ladybug pillow pet
- loves all her dogs but has favorites (Chico-10lbs and buddy-200lbs)
- favorite foods are chips, yogurt, spaghetti, english peas, pizza, cookies, strawberries, noodles
- would live outside
- obsessed with cows
- loves dresses, bows, and shoes
- knows all animal sounds (says elephants say "roll tide")
- can count 1-10 by herself
- can sing ABC's by herself
- can speak in complete sentences
- can point to her eyes, nose, hair, ears, hands, fingers, eyelashes, bottom, knees, elbow, cheeks, teeth, toes, feet, belly, belly button, mouth, arms, legs
- loves to brush her teeth and hair by herself
- can sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" by herself
- loves to put puzzles together
- can color by herself
-drinks milk and water

She is truly our gift from God! We are so blessed!

19 months old

1st Day of Preschool-Rain Rain Go Away!

"I have my phone and my milk lets go!"

This picture is from outside the classroom of course. Scarlet is the big pink bow and pacifer. I peeled her off me and put her in her seat between and cute little boy and girl. She cried until I walked out and then said "Hey" to the little girl beside her. The little girl grabbed her pacifer out of her mouth and I thought "Oh no she will really scream now!" She smiled at the little girl and said "Hey!" again and again. I bolted after speaking with the teacher a few minutes outside.

Today is Scarlet's first half-day at Evergreen Preschool. She will be playing and learning from 8-12 each day. Several of my friends who teach in Dothan children attend the preschool. It didn't rain this morning it FLOODED. This is always nice the first day of preschool with all the bags! Scarlet was dry and mommy was soaking wet.

14 months old

4th of July Beach Trip

Scarlet visited the zoo for the first time on our family beach trip. She loved it! Morgan and Scarlet had such a wonderful time at the beach.

One Year Pictures

I added an item to my list of "Things Moms Shouldn't Try." I decided to take Scarlet to Maria's Vineyard to take her one year pictures myself. Nicole, who normally takes our pictures, just delivered a gorgous new baby boy. So.... I took Scarlet to the vineyard :
~by myself
~at 10:00 AM in the morning
~during the hottest week we have had this summer
~I was in a dress and heels
~with a basket full huge items to use in pics
~with 3 outfit changes

I learned this lesson the HOT I mean HARD way!
These pictures turned out to be some of my favorites! I guess all the torture was worth it!
